Root end filling materials: A review

ABSTRACT:The main goal of endodontic procedure is to provide a complete 3-D seal of the tooth from the periodontium. When this is not possible by othograde approach, retrograde filling needs to be done. Plethora of dental materials is available as root end filling material. This article reviews on the advantages and disadvantages of various retrograde materials as well as discusses new materials available.
