Management of a pyogenic granuloma of the tongue: A case report and review of the literature

ABSTRACT:Pyogenic granuloma is a benign non-neoplastic mucocutaneous lesion evolving in response to local irritation. In the mouth, the lesion most commonly affects gingiva. This paper is about a pyogenic granuloma of the tongue. Clinical features, pathogenesis, differential diagnosis, histopathology, and treatment are discussed.
