A compendium on remineralizing agents in dentistry

Abstract:
Dental caries is a multifactorial disease and has been a major public health problem worldwide.
It is an infectious microbiologic disease that causes destruction of calcified tissues of tooth. Nowadays, emphasis is being laid down on non-invasive management approach for non-cavitated lesions using remineralizing agents. The aim of this review is to update regarding the various remineralizing agents used in dentistry and their mode of action.
